Robert is an enthusiastic and motivated Chartered Civil & Structural Engineer with an honours degree and over thirteen years post graduate experience of designing, detailing, supervising and project managing a variety of civil and structural projects for multi-disciplinary consultancy companies. Robert is accustomed to dealing with clients, design teams, contractors and local authorities. Robert thrives in deadline driven environments and has a flexible and versatile attitude, whilst remaining composed under pressure. Robert has a good sense of humour, work ethic and enjoys working as part of a team.
Throughout the last thirteen years he has been involved in the design and supervision of a broad spectrum of building and civil engineering projects including residential, mix-used development, education, health care, infrastructural, defense, public realm developments. Robert also has extensive experience refurbishment and conservation projects.
Robert has undertaken the design and supervision of many forms of construction including reinforced concrete, precast concrete, structural steelwork, masonry and general structural timber.
Robert has managed projects under numerous forms of contract including Public Works Contracts (PWC), Royal Institute of Architects (RIAI), Public Private Partnership (PPP) & bespoke forms of contract.
With an extensive background in managing the detailed design and documentation of major projects, Robert has key experience in leading the design development of structural elements and in the management and guidance of the project engineering and drafting teams.

Project Civil & Structural Engineer
He has been the lead engineer on the successful delivery, management and planning of many large scale landmark projects including Qantas Headquarters, Two Melbourne Quarter, Dubbo Base Hospital and Northpoint tower.
Robert graduated in 2006 and began his career with PH McCarthy Consulting Engineers, who were acquired by White Young Green in 2008, where he worked in a structural capacity on a number of large scale projects including Belarmine Village Centre, M3 Motorway Toll Plazas & Maintenance Facility, The Pumphouse Londonbridge Road and a large underground surface water attenuation tank in Dublin Airport.
Robert then joined Burroughs Design Partnership where he worked primarily as a civil engineer, developing his knowledge and experience with road alignment design, drainage design and attenuation tank design. While with Burroughs Design Partnership, Robert worked on a number of residential developments on the Isle of Man and Jersey Island.
After his time with Burroughs, Robert joined Clifton Scannell Emerson Associates as a senior Structural Engineer where is worked on a number of complex developments including the Redevelopment of Leopardstown Race Course, a 16 Classroom School in Rathnew, the Bray Primary Care Centre and the Brockney Lane Bridge.
Robert joined Dennany Reidy Associates in 2016 and has worked on a large variety of projects including the refurbishment of the Derg Marina, The Adare Manor Guest Activity Building and Facilities Building Extension, numerous social housing projects for multiple Local Authorities and a number of bespoke architecturally designed houses.
