Project Description
Landmark Global Headquarters
The redevelopment of the Qantas global headquarters near Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport consolidated and upgraded four existing Qantas office buildings and joined them together with an interconnecting hub. The aim of the project was to rejuvenate the existing campus and to create a world class headquarters for Qantas, and this was successfully achieved.
This 4-story hub space is formed by a new steelwork atrium structure consisting glazed walls and a partially glazed roof that interconnects the existing buildings creating a new communal “street space”. This space houses new facilities and amenities for Qantas staff members and provide new physical links between the existing buildings.
The project has was documented and coordinated by both architect and structural engineer using Autodesk Revit.
