Renovation of Mill Building on the River Barrow

This project consisted of the renovation of an existing derelict Mill Building located on the banks of the River Barrow in New Ross, Co. Wexford. Completed in 2009, the building was converted into a hotel facility with hotel rooms, bar & restaurant.

DRA Consulting Engineers acted in the roles of civil & structural engineers for the project. This included the design of a new superstructure within the existing fabric of the Mill Building. The works also included the design & construction of a tanked basement as the building abuts the River Barrow.
