New Marina Facility in picturesque Lough Derg
This development consisted of the refurbishment of the existing Lough Derg Marina in Ballina, Co. Tipperary. Designed by Arnold Leahy Architects, the project was completed in 2019.
The refurbishment works consisted of the installation of a new 800m long cantilevered walkway around the marina perimeter, the removal and reinstatement of 115 berths, construction of new services building, construction of new refueling and waste management system, reinstatement of internal roadway and the provision of erosion control measures throughout.
DRA Consulting Engineers acted in the role of civil & structural engineers for the project.
